How we rebuilt a neglected website for sustainable, long-term growth.
Introduction.
MB Services approached us disappointed with their previous SEO agency. Upon evaluation, it became evident that the previous agency was misleading the client as their website had not been updated or optimised for an extended period, leading to outdated content and fundamental technical faults, such as a missing SSL certificate.
Recognising the need for a fresh start, we recommended a complete rebuild to modernise the site, integrate new functionalities, and establish a robust technical foundation for ongoing SEO efforts.

The outdated website posed significant issues, from technical SEO flaws to content that no longer aligned with the business’s current offerings. Although the site ranked reasonably well for some key terms, it was not capitalising on its full potential due to limited content, poor user experience, and a lack of updates from the previous agency. AI innovation – OBD2 fault code project.
As part of our innovative approach, we identified a unique opportunity to enhance organic visibility by targeting OBD2 fault codes. Leveraging AI and automation, we created a comprehensive database of all fault codes, categorising and optimising them for high-potential keywords.
To streamline this effort, we developed a dynamic table on the website that links to individual pages for each code. These pages were designed to rank highly in search results and provide value to a niche audience. Without AI, this project would have been unfeasible due to the sheer volume of data and research required. The initiative delivered exceptional precision, scalability, and a significant return on investment for MB Services, cementing their authority in this space.

- Organic Traffic Growth – The website saw a 45% year-on-year increase in organic traffic, with noticeable improvements in rankings for key service pages.
- Keyword Rankings – Critical keywords like “Mercedes specialist Sheffield” moved from position 10 to position 3, and “OBD2 fault codes” now ranks on page 1, driving highly targeted traffic.
